- Remember a baby change bag for all the essentials
- Use a baby carrier or a compact stroller as space is a premium on board
- Fold the stroller and leave it in the baggage area at the ends of the carriage.
- It is worth pre-booking seats ahead of travel to ensure you can get 2 seats together. A car seat brought on board can be placed on a spare seat to give your arms a rest during baby's naps. There are no seat belts on a train so your vigilance is necessary during travel to ensure the seat does not tip or move
- Try to sit close to the doors. It will give you some space to walk around if necessary
- Always bring plenty of toys for amusement. Older children can be amused with the passing scenery, at least for a short while!
